DESCRIPTION: I didn't really pay much attention to my professors at U.C. Berkeley in Biochemistry. This is a drawing created while struggling to stay awake during class in a large lecture hall of the Valley Life Sciences Bldg.
It includes a drawing of an IGUN computer simulation output (top), some kind of balloon-looking biological building block (top-left), VLSB Lecture hall in-session (center-right), the Pets.com sock puppet (center-left) on my hairy arm singing Blood, Sweat and Tears "Spinning Wheel", and a self-representation wearing a Drugstore.com shirt (center-bottom).

Welcome to my new project - The Casual Coprolite. What is a coprolite, you ask?According to Wikipedia, "A Coprolite is fossilized animal dung." In the specific example of this blog (yes, the one you are reading right now), it's an archive for 'old' written notes, letters, photographs and assorted other collections stored over the years. It's a glimpse of me through different periods in my life.So here's the initial plan, possibly to be modified/adapted as I start posting more frequently:- A scan or photograph of an item
- A short explanation/story about the item
- An approximate origin/creation date of item
I hope you have fun! I guarantee there will be some interesting items that come up. I already have quite a queue of material for presentation.Bryan
